Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Ordinance 2021-87, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City in Case No. ZC-21-18
by rezoning approximately 21.31 acres of land located at the northwest corner of the West Centerpoint Road and Flint Ridge Road intersection from “FD” Future Development
District to “MF-24” Multi-Family Residential District, or subject to consent of the owner, another less intense subject to consent of the owner, another less intense zoning district classification; including procedural provisions; and providing an effective date; consider approval of Ordinance 2021-87, on first of two readings.

Is this the multi-family that was approved by the La Cima PID committee a few years ago, or is this a new multifamily tract that they are requesting? If it's new what was the input from the La Cima Committee?

This is not new. The La Cima Development Agreement allows multifamily in the community commercial area west of Wonder World Drive – this was added as an allowable use in the Development Agreement in 2018.
