Rob Fitch, Emergency Management CoordinatorI'd like to see more on "The council can /will receive information and updates on events through the liaison (City Clerk)." since that's the important part of this presentation. We need notification as to when we will receive notification throughout the incident. Something such as "messages will be sent at 10 am and 3 pm each day to keep you up-to-date" which will likely be at difference intervals depending on the level. But we need to know EARLY what to expect. Very early. The main cause of DISinformation is LACK of information. The more WE know, the more we can help.
There are several acronyms used that are not referenced with the full spell out as in Emergency Management (EM).
Is the "CMT" on the EOC Operations slide the "Crisis Management Team?"
Is "EM" "Emergency Management?"
We need an acronym guide. Include EOC and CC and other abbreviations used.
