Consider approval of Ordinance 2022-27, on the second of two readings, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City in Case ZC-22-08, by rezoning approximately 5.01 acres of land generally located at the intersection of E McCarty Lane and Hwy 123 from “LI”, Light Industrial District to “CM”, Commercial District, or, subject to the consent of the owner, another less intense zoning district classification, including procedural provisions; providing an effective date.

Regarding: "UPDATE: The applicant has submitted a letter amending their zoning change request to exclude the parcel zoned “GC” General Commercial from their request. The letter has been included in this agenda packet. It should be noted that the assessment given in the staff report reflects the originally submitted 7.52 acres, and not the revised boundary." It's been since March 8, why wouldn't there be an assessment on what we are asked to vote on? Or a notation that this is not a material change and the staff report doesn't change?

Response provided by Amanda Hernandez, Assistant Director of Planning & Development Services:
This is not a material change as it is a reduction in the area initially requested for rezoning. This item is on consent agenda for second reading with an initial approval from City Council, therefore staff did not find making any changes necessary in this instance.
