Consider approval of Resolution 2024-30R, approving an agreement for the provision of services in connection with the proposed owner requested annexation in Case No. AN-24-01 of approximately 176.5 acres of land, commonly known as Quail Creek, generally located north of the intersection of State Highway 21 and the railroad and south of the Blanco River; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute said agreement on behalf of the city; setting a date for a public hearing concerning the proposed annexation of said tract of land; and declaring an effective date.

Why is there no notation in the agenda item that the City is the owner?
I found it in the packet, finally.

Response provided by Amanda Hernandez, Director of Planning and Development Services:
In the interest of maintaining consistency across all agenda items, staff works off template language – which for annexation does not include identification of the property owner. The statement “this land is city-owned” is on the second page under background information and on the first context slide. This item will return to City Council for first and second reading of an ordinance. We will try to make it more apparent that this is city owned land in future items.
