Consider approval of Resolution 2026-162R, approving an agreement with Maxine Cassidy, Michael Thomas Fleming, Daryl Peyton Fleming, David Leyton Fleming, Laura Lynn Ottmers Pelitera, Carolyn Dee Ottmers Fox, Nancy Kay Ottmers Davis, and Delbert Max Ottmers, III, providing for the city to purchase approximately 2.407 acres of land in the vicinity of Redwood Road, between FM 1978 and Bluebonnet Hill Lane, for a price of $108,315.00, plus associated closing costs, in connection with the FM 1978 Water Reclamation Facility (C571); authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the agreement and associated closing documents on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.

Why was this one document instead of one per property owner?
There is only one property, but that property is owned by descendants from the original landowner who acquired title in 1971 and passed away in 2006. Through the various inheritances within the deceased of the family tree, these are the living heirs who have title to the property being acquired.


Is there a map of all the properties?
The attached map was included in the packet, but I am re-attaching for your use. The parcel is identified as the “2.407 ac Fleming Property” outlined in red.
