Consider approval of Resolution 2025-122R, approving a contract with La Sociedad Cuauhtemoc for the city to provide funding in the sum of $120,000.00 from general fund dollars freed up by the receipt of Coronavirus Relief Funds for the installation of sprinkler upgrades to Cuauhtemoc Hall, 1100 Patton Street; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the contract on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date

  • I know this has been previously asked before, but just to be certain given my lack of understanding on the project design, will the future construction to replace the roof impact the sprinklers under discussion? (Not sure what they are fixed to)
Thank you

Response provided by Hayden Migl, Director of Administrative Services:
I know this has been previously asked before, but just to be certain given my lack of understanding on the project design, will the future construction to replace the roof impact the sprinklers under discussion? (Not sure what they are fixed to). It is our understanding the anticipated roof construction should be exterior and will not impact the sprinklers once installed.

If the project costs less, will those dollars be returned to the city?
Yes, if the project is less than the amount, any remaining dollars should be returned to the city.
