Consider approval, by motion, to accept the Workforce Housing Committee Purpose Statement “Promote the preservation and expansion of diverse, affordable housing choices in San Marcos in accordance with the Affordable / Workforce Housing Policy, City’s Comprehensive Plan, or any applicable plan or ordinance related to housing including the Strategic Housing Action Plan, once adopted. Review applications for Low Income Housing Tax Credit developments to ensure new developments provide the best services in a safe location for San Marcos residents with the most need. Review applicable Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications and initiatives.”
