Consider approval of Ordinance 2022-14, on the first of two readings, amending Chapter 6 of the San Marcos City Code concerning animals by amending and adding certain definitions in Section 6.001 and adding a new section 6.065 in order to regulate the sale of cats and dogs by pet stores; providing a savings clause; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing an effective date.
