Consider approval of Resolution 2025-162R, authorizing a contract with Schneider Engineering LLC d/b/a SEnergy for engineering services for regulatory tracking and compliance for a term of five years in the cumulative amount of $104,424.00; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the contract on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.

Response provided by Brian McHenry, Assistant Director of Utilities:
The answer to both of those questions is yes. We currently pay $1500/mth for their service. However, this will increase over time for inflation. Their service includes ERCOT, PUC, EPA and NERC regulatory compliance monitoring and direction as well as guidance on house and senate bills. All of the forms we file with the organizations I mentioned are drafted and reviewed by Senergy to ensure that we don't incur any penalties for non-compliance or create any deviations from regulatory standards. Thank you!
