Consider approval of Resolution 2022-123R, approving an Interlocal Agreement with Hays County allowing the City access to the County’s CAD/Mobile Data System; authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute the agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring effective date.

If so, when will the conversion of data be done, how long will it take, and what is the cost of that conversion?

Good morning. Council approved funding from ARPA round 1 for the PD to transition from CIS as our CAD and RMS vendor to Tyler New World. The implementation of that project is well under way, including the RMS data migration component which is currently ongoing. We are set for a go-live date of August 2, 2022 and staff are preparing for multiple rounds of user training. To achieve the best value and operational efficiency, we elected to partner with Hays County to accomplish this implementation. Hays County will maintain the servers for both agencies and we will continue to “own” our data. This ILA with the county is necessary to move the implementation forward.
