Item 20: Midtown Drainage Improvements

Consider approval of Resolution 2023-45R, approving award of a contract to D&S Concrete Contractors LLC for the Midtown Drainage Improvements Phase 1A project (including add alt 2) in the amount of $2,182,211.00; authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute the contract on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.

Will we be maintaining the ditch in the future on a routine basis? How often will that happen?
The drainage easement being improved with the Midtown project will continue to be owned by TXDOT and intended to be maintained by them.
