Consider the appointment of the Mayor or City Council Member to the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) Clean Air Coalition and provide direction to Staff.

Related to the CAPCOG appointment and air quality - I thought we voted as a body not to hold up the Airport master plan, but to bring something back at a later date to discuss the negative impact increased traffic would have on air quality and the surrounding community's health?

Response to CM Baker, provided by Kirk Abbott, Project Engineer:
You are correct that the master plan adoption was not held up. Attached is a memo from April regarding Engineering/CIP concerns about the level of effort required. Such an impact study would likely be beyond the City’s capability and would require assistance from additional entities.
