Consider approval of Ordinance 2021-55, on the first of two readings, amending Section 30.029 of the San Marcos City Code to authorize the assessment of a Service Fee to the holder of an alarm permit for each city response to a false alarm in excess of four false alarms, instead of six, within any 12-month period; and providing an effective date.

Response to CM Baker:

Our ordinances would not apply to TX State University departments since they are a state agency. However, we would not normally respond to their alarms. Rather, the TX State University Police would handle those.
