Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Resolution 2022-166R, providing no objection to the submission of an application for Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for the proposed 1800 apartments multifamily housing project located on the south side of Centerpoint Road approximately 1,900 feet east of IH-35, approving findings
related to the application, imposing conditions for such non objection; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute said agreement and to submit and execute documents related to the application; and declaring an effective date; and consider approval of Resolution 2022-166R.

Remind us again of who is on the Workforce Housing Council Committee. I see it deep in the report, but in the AFT would be helpful.
Is this in the 1400 block or 1800 block? Their application shows Subject Property Address as 1800 Centerpoint Rd.

There will be no revenues from the project?
Have they offered anything to substitute for property tax we will not receive that can help provide/fund services?

How do we consider criteria 8 met when some of the information hasn't been turned in yet?

Is this in the 1400 block or 1800 block? Their application shows Subject Property Address as 1800 Centerpoint Rd. An address has not yet been assigned, but it is near the 1400 block. The application, submitted by the applicant, was completed and submitted to staff as presented in the packet. Staff will work with the applicant on addressing during the platting process.

There will be no revenues from the project? Correct, the request is for a project which would be exempt from taxes.
Have they offered anything to substitute for property tax we will not receive that can help provide/fund services? No, they will only provide services as required by TDHCA.

How do we consider criteria 8 met when some of the information hasn't been turned in yet? The items listed under criteria #8 as “Provided at later stage in Development Process” are requirements of the TDHCA application or City permitting process which are not yet available. Since these items are requirements, staff has considered these met because we will get everything later in the process.
