Additional information from staff regarding our current practice:
Sights-N-Sounds tickets were previously given to the City Clerk’s office. They would then distribute them to council members and directors.
- 150 one-day passes ($5 value)
- 50 six-day passes ($15 value)
- 10 Jingle bell run entries ($10 value)
- 16 tickets to lighting in the park ceremonies (tickets are not sold but have a $20 value)
- Marketing – premier marketing
Go Wheels Up 2019
Two batches of tickets were received. A batch was delivered to the City Manager’s office - Steve. Were distributed to council or anyone with interest in attending. The second batch were emailed to the CVB office. E-Tickets were distributed to SMCISD teachers.
Go Wheels Up 2021
Two batches of tickets were received. CVB staff and TIC Volunteers who worked the booth were given e-tickets to attend. All other tickets were not used.

Section 7.10 - Gifts and Gratuities: City employees are prohibited from soliciting or accepting gifts, gratuities, favors, loans or other objects of monetary value arising as a result of the performance of their duties as City employees. Food items may be accepted only if reasonably consumable in one sitting.
