A new LIHTC development would be required to submit an application to staff, undergo internal review, and be presented to the Workforce Housing City Council Committee for a recommendation prior to consideration of a resolution of support.
What is staff asking for direction on? Is it - should it have to go through the Workforce housing committee or not since its not a "new" project?

Yes, that is the direction we are seeking. Staff has not had this type of request since adopting the current policy / process and we are seeking direction on whether or not to vary from the process for this and future requests we receive which may be similar.
