Consider approval of Resolution 2024-210R, approving the award of a contract to Plummer Associates, Inc., to provide engineering services for the City of San Marcos Recycled Water Feasibility Study and Master Plan in the amount of $530,478.00; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the contract on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.

Response provided by Shaun Condor, Director of Engineering/CIP:
The grant requires a 50% local match and has authorized funding up to $500K. In other words, the federal government will pay $1 for every $1 the city matches up to a total amount of $500K ($250K grant and $250K local funds). Anything below $500K is 50% grant and 50% local funding. Anything over $500K is 100% the responsibility of the local government. The agreement maxes out the grant funding first.
