Consider approval of Resolution 2023-108R, approving an agreement with Creative Bus Sales, through the Texas Smart Buy Purchasing Cooperative for the purchase of two (2) Glaval Universal 24 foot transit buses in the amount of $372,454.00; authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date.

What happens to the old buses?

Response provided by Pete Binion, Assistant Director of Public Works:
In accordance with Federal Transit Administration disposition procedures, the old buses will be auctioned. The old buses are titled to the Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS). As such, CARTS will undertake these actions.
