Consider approval of Resolution 2022-80R, approving an advertising agreement with Texas Productions, Inc. to promote the thriving music scene in San Marcos in the annual amount of $65,000.00 and authorizing two additional one-year renewal terms; authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute the agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date.

What is the source of funding? I see "advertising" but is this general fund or HOT funds?
I watch the Texas Music Scene TV show and it doesn't look like The Marc is used as much as it used to be? Covid the cause?
Looking forward to seeing their ideas in the packet happen.

Funding source: Hotel Occupancy Tax

Yes, due to COVID, there has not been live filming at the Marc.
