Receive a Staff presentation and consider approval of Resolution 2023-196R, allocating to non-profit agencies Human Services Grant funding of $550,000.00 from the city’s general fund and $100,000.00 from American Rescue Plan Act funds; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to act as the Official Representative of the city in matters related to said grant funds, including authorization to execute funding contracts with selected agencies on behalf of the city; and declaring an effective date.

Survey - who/how? Was this done after last year's initial scoring?
When will we be scheduled to discuss the changes made last year, the survey, and what changes may be needed for next year?

Response provided by Housing & Community Development Manager, Carol Griffith:
The After Action Review Survey was sent to all FY2023 applicants and all HSAB board members. Staff initially sent it by email but received feedback that agencies would prefer to respond anonymously, so staff then sent it through survey monkey. Eight agencies responded in total. All responses are included in the “Survey Results” document attached. These results were summarized into the attached presentation and presented to the Board at their June, 2023 meeting (presentation attached).

The Survey was sent in February, after Council’s initial discussions in December. Deadline for the surveys was March 31, after the Council’s final decision on March 7.
