Item 15: ADA Traffic Signal Equipment

Consider approval of Resolution 2022-60R, approving a contract with Consolidated Traffic Controls, Inc. through the HGACBuy Cooperative Purchasing Program for the purchase of ADA Traffic Signal Equipment in the amount of $56,675.35; authorizing the City Manager or her designee to execute the contract on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date.

Please tell me the audio portion of this software will be better than what we have now.

The new Audible Pedestrian System (APS) units will include the latest audio technology. So, the newer APS units will provide improved audio quality than the older units.
