Consider approval of Ordinance 2021-36, on the first of two readings, amending Chapter
82, Article 9 of the San Marcos City Code by exempting motor-assisted scooters provided
by a commercial scooter company under the terms of a License Agreement approved by
the City Council from the prohibition against commercially owned scooters on public
property, streets and sidewalks in the City; providing a savings clause; providing for the
repeal of any conflicting provisions; providing for penalties; and providing an effective date.
