Response to CM Derrick provided by Marie Kalka, Director of Finance:
1. The $15K is for calendar year 2021 and the $30K is for 2022-2024 (future years).
2. Through last Wednesday we have committed $414K of the $1.075M. With the extensive outreach that we did last week we are hopeful that we will see a good increase in the coming couple of weeks. It will be Council’s decision if they want to set aside ARP funds for additional funding for this program; however, keep in mind we will need to document that they qualify under the program to use these funds.
3. In this allocation there is $297K allocated by CVB and an additional allocation by Downtown of $200K.
4. See attached breakdown by Exhibit A Finance breakdown.
5. Exhibit A is for accounting purposes in our financial system how we are going to breakdown. The other categories (public health response, etc.) are the categories that the US Treasury uses for the program. These are very broad and we wanted a little more breakdown for monitoring in the system.
Response to Mayor Hughson provided by Marie Kalka, Director of Finance :
I have provided the spreadsheet modified to breakdown by US Treasury category. Attached also is sorted by our Exhibit A breakdown for the system.
