Consider approval of Resolution 2023-197R, approving a three-year lease agreement with Austin Community College for the lease of space at City Hall Complex Building 2 for distance learning programs to provide workforce training classes; authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to execute said nonprofit facility lease agreement; and declaring an effective date.

Will the funding identified be enough for this project?

In the contract, Section 15 Reports, C. Semi-annual report documents required:
May we please add a 3. to inform us of the number of those completing the course, graduates, certificates -for those courses that end with a certification. Please reword as necessary and I'll make the amendment. I'm looking for the success rate.

Yes, we anticipate that the $240,000 allocated by City Council to renovate the former SMEU facility on Highway 123 for this purpose will cover the amount needed to make the access, electric, and lighting improvements in Building 2.

Yes, I think that amendment is appropriate and ACC agrees. Proposed amendment: 3. Number of students completing each course, including those receiving a certificate for those courses resulting in certifications.
